All 32 London boroughs — checked against your property, not a London-wide guess
Pretium Synergy covers all 32 London boroughs. Installs are assessed against the property — driveway houses in outer boroughs, and flats or on-street parking in inner boroughs — not a London-wide guess.
Greater London here means all 32 London boroughs. Outer boroughs such as Bexley, Harrow, Havering and Sutton are largely houses with driveways. Inner boroughs such as Westminster, Islington, Hackney and Tower Hamlets are largely flats and on-street parking. The same charger, solar array or heat pump is not equally realistic in both.
Pretium Synergy installs solar PV, battery storage, air conditioning, air source heat pumps and EV chargers across these boroughs — checked against the actual property and that borough’s planning records. Bromley has a fuller guide of its own. The City of London is not a borough and is not a home-install area, so it is not listed below.
Becontree and the later suburban estates are largely houses, many with off-street parking. Barking town centre is tighter, with more flats.
Finchley, Hendon, Mill Hill and High Barnet are largely detached and semi-detached houses with driveways. The northern fringe is greener, which matters more for new building than for kit on an existing home.
Sidcup, Welling, Bexleyheath and Crayford are suburban houses with driveways, similar in character to the Bromley border. Sidcup is in Bexley.
Kingsbury and parts of Kenton are suburban houses with driveways. Willesden, Harlesden and Wembley include more terraces and flats, where a private bay and the freeholder decide an EV charger.
The largest borough by area, with 1930s semis and detached houses in Chislehurst and Bickley, Edwardian stock around Beckenham, and more roof and driveway space than inner London.
Read the Bromley guide →Mostly flats and terraces. Off-street parking is uncommon, so a home charger depends on a private space and, in a flat, the freeholder.
Coulsdon, Purley, Sanderstead and Kenley are suburban houses with driveways. Central Croydon has more flats. The south of the borough is the closer fit for a standard home charger.
Greenford, Northolt, Perivale and Hanwell are suburban houses with driveways. Ealing and Acton include more period streets and flats, so the address decides.
Southgate, Winchmore Hill, Enfield Town and the eastern suburbs are largely houses with off-street parking.
Eltham, New Eltham and Mottingham are suburban houses. Greenwich, Blackheath and Woolwich include more period streets and flats.
Predominantly terraces and flats. A driveway charger is the exception. Leasehold consent and on-street parking are the usual constraints.
Terraces and flats. Off-street parking exists on some streets, but it is not the norm.
Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Highgate have houses, often without a driveway. Tottenham has more flats and terraces.
Pinner, Hatch End, Stanmore and much of Harrow are interwar semis with driveways, so a standard home charger is often realistic, subject to the survey.
Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Harold Hill are outer-east suburban houses with driveways, closer in character to the Essex fringe than to inner London.
Uxbridge, Ruislip, Northwood and Ickenham are largely suburban houses with off-street parking. Streets nearer Heathrow and Hayes can be tighter.
Chiswick has period streets with limited off-street parking. Hounslow, Feltham and Cranford are more suburban. Driveway access varies by street.
Terraces and flats. Private off-street parking is uncommon.
Period houses and mansion flats. A private parking space is the exception, and listed or conservation status is common, so the address and the freeholder matter more than in outer London.
Surbiton, New Malden, Worcester Park and the streets away from Kingston town centre are largely houses with driveways.
Brixton, Clapham and much of the north are terraces and flats. Streatham and West Norwood include more houses, some with off-street parking.
Deptford and Lewisham town centre are denser. Catford, Grove Park and Downham, towards the Bromley border, have more houses and driveways.
Wimbledon and Raynes Park include houses with driveways. Mitcham and parts of Colliers Wood are more mixed.
Stratford, East Ham and Beckton include many flats and newer blocks. A home charger usually needs a private bay and building consent.
Woodford, Barkingside and the north of the borough are suburban houses with driveways. Ilford town centre is denser.
Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton and parts of Richmond and Kew have houses with gardens and driveways, alongside period streets where the address has to be checked.
Dulwich has houses. Bermondsey, Peckham and the north of the borough are mostly terraces and flats.
Cheam, Carshalton, Belmont and much of Sutton are suburban semis and detached houses with driveways.
Mostly flats. A standard driveway install is rare. Building consent and a private bay decide it.
Chingford and Highams Park are more suburban, with driveways. Walthamstow and Leyton are mostly terraces.
Putney, Southfields and Earlsfield have houses, some with drives. Battersea and the riverside are more flats.
Flats and mansion blocks. Off-street residential parking is uncommon, and listed or conservation constraints are frequent.
Boroughs on the edge — including Bexley, Bromley, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon and Sutton — are largely semis and detached houses. A standard home charger, roof solar or a heat pump is often realistic there, once the survey confirms the property.
Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Camden, Islington, Hackney and Tower Hamlets rarely have a private driveway. A charger then depends on a private bay and, for a flat, the freeholder. Solar and a whole-home heat pump are less often straightforward.
A pattern that holds in Bromley does not automatically hold in the next borough. Conservation areas and Article 4 directions are checked against that borough’s records for the address, not copied from a neighbouring page.
Planning and connection checks are part of the assessment.
Greater London sits in UK Power Networks’ London region. The connection route for the address is confirmed at assessment. Solar and battery may proceed under G98 notification or need G99 — Pretium handles this and flags early if the longer route is likely.
Solar, heat pumps, air conditioning and EV charging are national Pretium services. This page is here to take enquiries from Greater London. The line on each service is the property check for that enquiry. Engineers attend locally. Design, scope, customer service, warranty and aftercare stay with Pretium.
Enquire for solar PV and battery storage in Greater London. Houses with a usable roof are the usual starting point. Flats need the freeholder and a suitable roof.
Explore Solar PV & Battery Storage →Enquire for an air-to-water heat pump in Greater London. Whole-home heating is more often realistic in houses than in flats. The survey decides.
Explore Air-to-Water heat pump →Enquire for home air conditioning in Greater London. Daikin or Mitsubishi Electric. A single-split heats and cools one room; a multi-split uses one outdoor unit for several rooms. These are the home aircon, or HVAC, systems Pretium installs. In inner-borough flats a single-split is often the realistic job. Outer borough houses, including Bexley, Harrow, Havering and Sutton, can take a multi-split across several rooms.
Explore Air conditioning →Enquire for a home EV charger in Greater London. Standard installation is for off-street parking. Flats and on-street bays are a different enquiry.

Each London borough is its own planning authority. The notes above describe the usual housing and parking pattern. They are not a decision for your address. Conservation areas, Article 4 directions, and permitted development rights for solar and heat pumps should be confirmed against that borough’s current planning records before work proceeds — we do this as part of the assessment.
