Annex C — Pre-Installation Checklist

C1. General information (all installations)

• Access: Someone 18+ will be present. We have safe access to all required areas (indoors/outdoors, loft, meter, consumer unit, plant room).
• Parking/permits: Space is available for a van near the property and any required permits will be arranged in advance.
• Permissions: If you are a tenant/leaseholder or in a managed building/conservation area, you have written permission where required.
• Hazards: You have told us about any hazards (e.g., suspected asbestos, unsafe electrics, vermin, water ingress, structural defects).
• Power & lighting: There is adequate power and lighting available on the day for safe working.
• Pets and vulnerable persons: Areas are made safe and pets kept away from work zones.
• Working hours: You agree to normal weekday working hours unless otherwise agreed.
• Photos provided (see C2 below).

C2. Photos/documents to provide (as applicable)

• Front of property (showing access)
• Electricity meter and main fuse (cutout)
• Consumer unit (inside with cover open to show ways)
• Main earthing and bonding to gas/water (if accessible)
• Proposed equipment locations (indoor/outdoor)
• Cable/pipe routes (inside and outside)
• Loft hatch and boarding (for solar PV where relevant)
• Hotwater cylinder cupboard/plant area (for ASHP)
• Drain point (for AC/ASHP condensate)
• Any obstacles (steel beams, glass, thick stone, listed features)

C3. Electrical basics (all electrically-connected products)

• You have told us if there are no spare ways in your consumer unit (additional works may be quoted per Annex A).
• Main fuse rating known (60A/80A/100A) if available.
• Earthing arrangement (PME/TT) if known.
• WiFi is available at the equipment location (or strong 4G if your product supports it).
• You consent to app setup/online activation where required.
• Note: If your electrics are unsafe or unsuitable, we may have to pause and quote for remedial work (see Annex A).

• Work areas cleared; valuables removed or protected.
• Power sockets and water stops (if applicable) accessible.
• Children/pets kept out of work areas.
• You understand some dust/noise is unavoidable and reasonable making-good is included, but decorative finishes (painting, specialist surfaces) are not included.
