Daikin Sensira 2.0 kW, wall-mounted, one room — from £1,500 installed. Rooms up to 16 m². It heats and cools that room. It does not provide hot water and it does not replace a boiler.

How Air-to-Air works
Room-by-room control
A single-split serves one room. Multi-split gives connected rooms their own controls, in one shared heating or cooling mode.
Dry mode
Cooling or dry operation can remove excess moisture. Heating alone does not remove water vapour.
Filters recirculated air
Every range filters room air. Extra filtration or active treatment depends on the exact model and does not replace ventilation.

What “standard” means for a single-room system
- One outdoor unit, one wall-mounted indoor unit

More than one room, or outside that scope
Use the multi-split planner or ask Current. Then a survey and a fixed quotation. The planner does not show a price, and there is no payment until that quotation exists.
Questions about Air-to-Air?
- Isn’t this just aircon? Why call it a heat pump?
- Air-to-Air does the cooling job people associate with air conditioning, and it also heats efficiently — so it is an air-source heat pump, not a cooling-only AC unit.
- Does Air-to-Air give me hot water as well?
- No — standard Air-to-Air heats and cools rooms only, not domestic hot water. If you need whole-home heating and hot water, see Air-to-Water. Daikin Multi+ is a specialist path that can add hot water from one outdoor unit after survey.
- Is multi-split the same as the single-split installation price?
- No. Single-split wall-mounted installation starts from £1500. Installed price for the stated standard scope. A suitable electrical supply is required at the outdoor unit. We assess and price any additional electrical work before installation. Multi-split and specialist indoor units (cassette, ducted, floor-standing) are guide estimates, then a survey and a formal quote — not the single-split checkout path.
- What’s included in the from-price?
- From £1500 is a Daikin Sensira 2.0 kW wall-mounted single-split for one room. Installed price for the stated standard scope. A suitable electrical supply is required at the outdoor unit. We assess and price any additional electrical work before installation. Flats, listed buildings, longer pipe runs and non-standard outdoor placement are surveyed and quoted separately. - Does this heat as well as cool?
- Yes. Air-to-Air is a heat pump for the room. The same unit cools in summer and heats in winter.
- Is the guide price what I will pay?
- It is a guide for a straightforward install. We confirm your price once we know the room, the outdoor position and the electrics.
- Will Air-to-Air cost less to run than gas?
- Running cost depends on the system efficiency, tariff, weather, room load and how you use it. We do not assume every installation will cost less to run than gas.
- Will a bigger unit always be better?
- No. Each size is listed with its catalogue room area for heating and cooling. Choose the size that covers the room.
- Do Essential, Balanced, Enhanced and Premium change the install?
- No. They group the ranges. Installation care is the same. The unit on the wall is what changes.
